Congratulations to our latest graduate Mr Andrew Poon. Andrew has successfully completed a 12 mth coaching program, retraining him from a driving instructor to a driver trainer.

To become a Master driver trainer in Victoria the training will take 12mths and there is no guarantee you will pass. training is ongoing
We need to get learners into an active mode from the very
first time they drive.
You now have an option. do you want your child to just pass the test ( crash rate for pplaters is very high) or do you expect injury free driving.
research shows, crash rates for new drivers is exceptionally high.
Parents may well be great drivers, but does that
automatically ensure knowledge is passed on.
We need to assist parents/supervising drivers to recall all
the thoughts they have every moment every day they drive. ( try verbalising
every thought you are having whilst driving or just saying everything you are see,
) that’s what you need to pass on.

Overall, the research evidence suggests that driver training of a conventional nature (instructional) contributes little to reductions in
accident involvement or risk among drivers of all ages and experience groups. Low individual crash risk and decay
of learning work against the potential effectiveness of driver training programs that concentrate on car control skills
or deal with rare events such as emergencies
most Australian instructors(instructional based training increases crash rating) have undertaken no additional training ever. 25yr old outdated training style. and have a minimum certificate iii in driving instruction.
as with those who believe a 45 minute session actually achieves positive safe outcomes. listen and obey is not how we drive safely
